yesterday evening it was family time in the pok … we were all on the couch watching sportscenter repeat itself, like, six times in one hour, when steven and i hear lips smacking. we knew it wasn’t either of us, so that left only one suspect: d-man.
and smack he did. it was pretty funny, and being the textbook first-time parents that we are, we hurriedly grabbed the video camera and oohed and ahhed as if our kid had just discovered fire.

in my office, i am the boss. i go around in circles, put stuff in my mouth, and end the day with a meltdown. mommy says i’m just like a real boss.

i’ve had a lot to say lately, which has made for some colorful dinner conversation. here, i’m a little slow to start, but once i get going, i can guarantee you’ll hear me. (oh, and please excuse the jiggly camera work. mommy is certainly no expert in this arena; besides, most of the time she was laughing.)

this is my very first experience with solid food. up ’til now, i’ve just been getting tastes from mommy’s milk … do i need to remind everyone of the great jalapeno crisis ‘07 … hmmmm …

this is my first time in the bathtub … no more sponge baths for this guy! at best, i am ambivalent about the whole hygiene thing. i like how it feels to be clean, but i sure don’t like the trip getting there.
