first, grandpa chuck (d3) is coming in to visit us. he gets in tomorrow night and will be here through d-man’s b-day weekend.
oh, yes, d-man’s b-day is friday!!!
we are having a fete on saturday … mostly for steven and me … a sort of self-congratulations for surviving the first year.
AND … d-man is WALKING!!! more than just four or five steps … really WALKING … we walked outside yesterday afternoon, crunching the fall leaves. we walked up and down the driveway and over to the neighbors’ houses on both sides of us. d-man can walk when i hold both of his hands and when i hold only one hand!!! (we’ll get some video of it later in the week.)
this is really exciting stuff all the way around!
