buffy lives in omaha. last week they got one helluva storm, leaving 120,000 people without power and tearing the place up. here are some pictures from around their neighborhood. in the end, they were really lucky: no major house damage and, most importantly, everyone was safe and sound … (by the way, that’s her daughter brooke “lifting” the tree.)

of course, some people couldn’t care less about storms!
