didions_butterfly.jpgi seem to be getting busier with each passing day. it’s a lot of work keeping myself entertained, being amazingly cute, and hitting milestones … my calendar is full.

today was a good day. mommy found a new tickle spot: under my chin, and she and i read my favorite books (moo, baa, la-la-la and noisy farm). We also played a long time with my rattle toys. mommy even put me on my tummy so that i could shimmy my way over to my toys to pick them up. i took a catnap, and then it was back to the grind: more eating, more peeing, more pooping.

speaking of eating, i am eating solid food twice a day, which isn’t anything new, except that i am eating a lot more. i can eat a whole ounce of banana/rice cereal and a tablespoon of peas at one sitting.

the weather was quite nice today (sunny, mid- to upper-40s) so mommy and i went on our famous four-mile walk. (we walk all the way to vassar and cruise around the campus and then come home.) i like watching stuff whizz by while mommy pushes me in my stroller. she likes to walk fast. it’s supposed to rain tomorrow afternoon, but maybe we can walk again in the morning.

mommy is wiped out, but i still have a little energy left. right now i’m hangin’ with my dad watching lost. it’s daddy’s favorite show. when it’s over, i’ll head to bed.
